Pricing for Speech, Language, and Literacy Evaluations and Therapy in Haddonfield, NJ

Invest in specialized services that address the “why” behind the struggle.

Insurance and Out-of-Network Reimbursement

  • To provide the highly individualized, research-backed care your child deserves, we operate as an out-of-network provider.

We provide you with receipts/superbills so you can seek reimbursement from your health insurance plan. These can also be used if requested for your HSA or FSA benefits.

When investigating your out-of-network benefits, ask your insurance company:

    • Does my plan cover procedure code 92507 for out-of-network providers?

    • Does my plan cover “habilitative services” and those for “developmental disabilities”?

  • In-network care comes with limitations. In some settings, therapists may have less experience, less flexibility, and less time for planning and individualized care because of the demands of insurance-based systems.

If you are looking for a highly individualized, experienced provider, those differences matter.

  • Staying out-of-network allows us to provide specialized services that are difficult to find elsewhere. The enhanced level of care we offer includes:

    • A strong match between your child’s needs and Ellen’s skills… if she doesn’t treat it, she’ll give you a qualified referral

    • A highly trained therapist with over 20 years of experience and advanced training… no graduate students, clinical fellows, or substitute therapists

    • Excellent communication with you and others you select (e.g., teachers, physicians, etc.)… we’re easily accessible by text and email

    • The opportunity to participate in sessions or observe a live feed of the session in our private Parent Room — for the ultimate in transparency and parent education

    • Appointments in the afternoons and evenings that don’t conflict with school or work schedules

Often, clients receive reimbursement for our specialized services and end up with a final cost similar to what they might have paid in-network after deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.

  • We recommend getting a script to help with insurance coverage down the road. Ask their doctor to fax a script to us at (856) 558-9901 for “Speech Therapy: Evaluation and Treatment.”

For referrals, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications, every insurance plan is different. A quick call call to your insurance carrier should answer these questions.

Speech, Language, and Literacy Evaluations

Uncover the “why” behind your child’s struggles and discover the path to progress and confidence.

Targeted Evaluation, $300

Designed to answer a specific question when concerns are already understood.

Targeted Evaluations include:

  • Brief testing, typically completed in under an hour

  • A brief score summary rather than a full written report

  • Recommendations for next steps

Comprehensive Evaluations, $1500

Designed to dive deeper and reveal the full picture when questions are broad, more complex, or when the path forward is unclear.

Comprehensive Evaluations include:

  • Extensive testing, typically completed over 2-3 longer appointments

  • A highly detailed Evaluation Report

  • A Results & Planning Conference to review the results and a customized plan for progress — everything you need to move forward with confidence

Common Questions

  • In many cases, yes.

If the report provides clear scores in the area of concern and is less than one year old, we will likely accept it.

  • To allow for the breadth of testing needed for an accurate diagnosis, we will conduct a comprehensive evaluation.

    Requirements for testing:

    • Your child is attempting to speak

    • Your child is imitating and attempting to follow specific directions

    • Your child’s language skills are above that of a two-year-old’s

  • We routinely test for language, reading, and spelling-related concerns.

For full differential diagnosis of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other lookalike profiles, neuropsychologists are best positioned to help.
