Pricing for Speech, Language, and Literacy Evaluations and Therapy in Haddonfield, NJ
Invest in specialized services that address the “why” behind the struggle.
Your Insurance May Cover More Than You Think
What if your insurance could help cover the cost of highly specialized care?
Cheerful Chatter is a private pay practice — and that’s by design. Operating outside of insurance means no carrier telling us how many sessions your child gets or what goals we should be working on. It means care that’s built entirely around your child’s needs.
The good news? Your plan may already include out-of-network benefits and, if it does, you may be reimbursed for a portion of the cost.
We will automatically email you superbills after appointments if a diagnostic code is available. You can submit them yourself through your insurance carrier’s website or submit them through Thrizer for a small fee to make the process effortless.

To support consistent progress, many families choose to reserve weekly appointments. This ensures you have a dedicated spot each week — so skills can build steadily over time. Most families attend 1-2 sessions per week.
Consistent progress: weekly sessions build lasting skills
Predictable scheduling: your time slot is guaranteed every week
Built-in flexibility: complimentary make-up credits for eligible cancellations
No long-term contract: change your day, add or remove a second session, or discontinue services

Speech, Language, and Literacy Evaluations
Understanding your child is the first step toward helping them.
We offer three evaluation options depending on your needs and goals — a file review if recent testing is available, a targeted evaluation for a focused concern, and an extended evaluation for those who want to explore the full terrain of what’s going or when the path forward is more complex.
File Review — $150
If you have a relevant evaluation that is less than one year old, we may be able to use it.
✔️ No extra time required
✔️ Upload it through Jane
✔️ We’ll use it if we can. If not, we’ll let you know and apply the fee toward a Targeted Evaluation.
Targeted Evaluation — $300
Designed to answer a specific question when concerns are already understood. They include:
✔️ Roughly 45-60 minutes of testing
✔️ A brief score summary
✔️ Recommendations for next steps
Extended Evaluation — $1,500
Designed to dive deeper and reveal the full picture when questions are broad, more complex, or when the path forward is unclear. They include:
✔️ Often a few hours of testing
✔️ A highly detailed report
✔️ A meeting to review the results
